Once payment has been processed and license approved by the Board Office your ID card will be mailed as proof of “Active” Status.

Online license renewals open November 1, 2024 at 12:00 am CST (Central Standard Time). It will remain open until 11:59 pm December 31, 2025 (CST). Please note- on December 31, 2025 12:00 am (CST) your license will be suspended by operation of law if not paid; you shall not work as a CCR or CDR until renewed.

As of July 1, 2001, the Board was placed under the Office of the Governor. During the Legislative Session of 2009 under Act 438, section 17(A) the Revised Statutes 37:2551 and 2552(A) were amended and reenacted, effective as of August 15, 2009.
